We (my wife and myself) had a great time at Casa Turquesa in Cancun. Outstanding personnel providing a dedicated and very friendly service. We found the room (king-size bed) clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The jacuzzi at balcony with seaview is something special. For those who look for more privacy and personalized attention, this under 30-room boutique hotel should considered as a better option as compared to the more known huge large-chain 5-star hotels in Cancun area.
I liked the situation of the Hotel, the size of the room, the beach, the pool, many things.
The linen in the room is very old, the pilows are also old, the draperie is very old fashion, the air conditioning makes a very laud noise.
Beautiful, luxurious and comfortable; also quiet and relaxing. We chose the hotel because our flight to Cancun had been changed and we arrived a day earlier than our originally booked resort. This hotel offered a late checkout of 4 P.M. (through Booked.net) which allowed us to rest and relax before checking in to our original resort, and although we are very happy with our accommodations here, our night at Casa far exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed the jacuzzi on our deck and a quiet, undisturbed morning. Breakfast at the poolside restaurant was delicious, and our server paid attention to our every need. We felt very pampered and wished we could have stayed longer!
scruffy and poor attention to details. Arriving there was no welcome service, nobody took even our luggage. Mini bar empty. Jacuzzi dirty and not working fine. Pool bar closed. Etc. Definitely not a 5 stars hotel
Private spa, big bed, huge room and bathroom.
Hard bed, staff spoke little English, no concierge on weekend, no maps available, No safe in room
It is not a mega all inclusive resort as we usually find in cancun! Nice view. By looking at the other hotels, we were really happy to stay away from these all inclusive resorts.
The hotel was being renovated during our stay. Only a little noise from this.
Luxurious decor, clean, comfortable room.
This small and very personal hotel is situated directly on the beautiful beach and not far away from shopping and night life in Cancun. If you are looking for quaiet and relaxing place with very attentive personal this is hotel for you. Cancun itself is very exploited and nothing we will miss. But if we ever travel back to Mexico we will definately stay att Casa Turquesa.
Since we are a bit hypersensitive when it comes to noise, we wish the hotel would be more soundproof.
Its nearness to the ocean and view from the room were amazing. The beautiful art work throughout the hotel. The lovely staircase.
I was surprised given the rate i was charged by the lack of a mini bar and coffee and tea maker in the room and that there was no guest computer with internet access. Not everyone travels with a laptop so that was very inconvenient. Also the beds were not made up by the maid and there was no water the first night.
The location and the interior of the hotel
Although the hotel is described as 5 stars hotel, it does not deserve this mark completely.
we order this hotel via booking site and we find out when we came to this hotel that the hotel is on its Renovation period there was no data of any kind that imply this and the price was the same and even higher actually it was a fraud and because of that i Recommend you to stay away from this hotel
The room size and decoration
The door lock and the safe box
Incredible staff. Beautiful location, Really big rooms.
Despite the fact that we'd booked a King Junior Suite, when we checked in we were given a Junior Suite with two double beds. I'm not sure whether this was a hotel error or website error, and when we pointed out the error we were given the correct room.
I liked its size with only 29 bedrooms. Good air-con in room. Peace and quiet. Nice quiet pool and good access to beach. Liked the art on display.
Off season occupancy rates are low and we never saw anyone in the restaurants so didnt use them. £8 for g&t at poolside and £4 for bottle of water to room seemed excessive - no Coffee/tea making in room. Staff didn't speak great English. Wifi did not work for first 6 days which hampered activity planning significantly. No hotel or resort information supplied in the room.
